The Strait of Gibraltar

The STROG: England with the Andalusia's climate  !

Why go to the STROG?
- Because it's really funny to come from spain and arrive to an english country. I advise you to go to the STROG to meet spanish people speaking english!
- To see monkeys, Australia is the best place to meet kangarooes, the STROG is the one to meet monkeys.
- For smohers, because, as you can see in this picture, cigarettes are cheaper than in spain!
It was a british military base. Cause it's british (since 1704), the head of state is the queen Elisabeth II, but there's a governor who controls the administration of the territory and he's in charge of the Royal Gibraltar Police.
The Gilbraltar's problem is the request to connect the territory to Spain: it's in the United Nations list of Non-Self-Governing Territories (Official list of the UNION for the decolonization of territories).

The military activities traditionally dominated the economy of Gibraltar, the site of construction and naval maintenance supplying the major part of the economic activity. The Gibraltar's economy is based on on the service sector, mainly the finance and the tourism. Some British and International Banks have subsidiaries to benefit from the low rate of taxation on societies. The Rock of Gibarltar is a very popular tourist attraction.
All the goods and the services are sold without value-added tax, what explains the presence of several British department stores: Marks and Spencer, BHS, Dorothy Perkins, and the supermarket chain Morrisons. The currency is the Gibraltar Pound £.
